The web app is the primary way to use Akari. Native clients are available as preview builds.

The Android client ships v0.0.7 with the embedded frontend aligned to the live web app, so the preview client no longer surfaces features that haven't shipped to the web yet.
Credential storage and OAuth callback hardening, plus the hot-update download source and size validation, carry over from v0.0.6.
The Windows desktop client is retired and its download entry has been removed; please use the web app.
The web app remains the recommended entry point with no installation required.

Open Akari in the browser — no installation required. Always up to date.

APK installer for Android 8.0 and later. The arm64-v8a build covers most modern devices (~58 MB).

Not sure what to choose? Start with the web app; install the Android client when you want a dedicated mobile entry point.

Best when you want a dedicated Android entry point; the web app also works well for lighter use.
